Michael Hepburn & Company is an organization today of some eighteen members including two partners. We feel that the success of our firm has been greatly attributable to the quality of services we have always rendered our clients, which resulted in the willingness of our clients and friends to recommend us to others.

Michael M. Hepburn

Education

Educated at Saint Augustine’s College in Nassau, Bahamas, Michael Attended University in Montreal, Canada where he graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance. He articled at Price Waterhouse – Montreal and did his postgraduate studies at McGill University. In 1976, he successfully completed the Certified General Accountants programme and earned the initials C. G. A. In September 1977, he successfully completed the Chartered Accountancy program for the Providence of Quebec and was given the designation C.A

Working Experience

In 1976, Michael Hepburn was appointed Financial Director of the Broadcasting Company of the Bahamas and was responsible for all financial and accounting systems in the corporation including radio and television.

In 1980, he resigned and started Michael Hepburn & Company with two offices – Nassau and Freeport

Leo M. Hepburn

Education

Educated at Queen’s College in Nassau, Bahamas, Leo attended University in Montreal, Canada 1972 – 1977 where he graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Economics. Leo then went on to article with Price Waterhouse in Nassau, Bahamas. In 1987, Leo successfully completed his C.P.A. exams and was admitted to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Working Experience

In 1982, Leo joined Price Waterhouse in Nassau as a Staff Accountant where he assisted in audits of major privately held and Government owned corporations.

In 1987, he joined Michael Hepburn & Co. in the Freeport office and in 1988 became the Partner in charge of the Freeport office.
